Medical Billing & Coding specialists lead the national effort to automate medical administrative tasks.
Employment in the health information technician and medical records field is expected to grow by 21% between 2010 and 2020, faster than average according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The reason behind this growth is the expected demand for more health services needed by our aging population that will need to be categorized, coded, and organized for billing by Medicare and other insurers.
